The Long Story Short Band
Raleigh's Answer for Danceable Rock, Rhythm & Blues!

                          Who's in the Band?

Debi DeAnn - Lead Vocals - Debi began working in her first professional band at the age of 13. She graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC and has performed in original Off Broadway musicals as well as numerous appearances in Film and Television. She has provided lead and backup vocals in original and cover bands in both the NYC and the Washington DC area. She currently performs classical music with the accomplished Concert Singers of Cary and the Concert Singers Chamber Choir. As well as providing lead vocals for Long Story Short, she enjoys playing bass on occasion

Ricky Gee -  Bass & Vocals - Ricky hails from NYC and has been playing music since the ripe old age of 8. Over the years he has played many diverse styles including Texas Swing with the “Doug Cook Band”, hardcore punk with the infamous “Screwtones”, original hard rock with “Even Money” and Top-40 with “Luxury Suite”.    A move to beautiful North Carolina found Ricky Gee playing bass and singing with hard rock cover band “Wilde Ride”. Now check him out still playing Fender bass and delivering lead and background vocals nightly with the 4-piece Raleigh-Rock inspired “Long Story Short” band.

Richard Sarratt - Guitar & Vocals- Like most guitar players of his age, Richard first picked up a guitar in the 60's. Unlike most guitarist, he gravitated towards musicians like Cream rather than the Beatles. Since then he has played in bands from a full stage band orchestra through Texas blues, southern rock, alternative, beach music and the 80's. Having lived in NC for the past 24 years he has been a member of many bands including Flatline, Flybone and the karoke band Voices Cary. As he is fond of saying, "if it gets them out on the dance floor, I will play the phone book."
